Created to celebrate the modern discerning couple on the path to marriage and the creatives that shape their dreams. La Mariée is not just a bridal event; it’s an artistic movement dedicated to creating exceptional moments and elevating the culture of celebration.

The Story of La Mariée

On October 30, 2025, more than 150 guests gathered at the historic The Vancouver Club and were transported into a Renaissance-inspired narrative that explored the journey of once-oppressed brides finding freedom through choice and self-expression. The debut production sold out ahead of opening night. La Mariée introduced Vancouver’s first immersive bridal event; an experience where couture runway, design, performance, and culinary artistry converged in a fashion-forward celebration of modern wedding culture, bringing together more than 17 leading wedding professionals from across Western Canada.

The event resonated strongly with couples and creatives drawn to refined, fashion-forward design. Across digital platforms, La Mariée reached over 757,866+ people, including more than 71,000 Instagram accounts through targeted campaigns. Pre-launch teasers generated over 69,479+ organic views, while the Eventbrite page received more than 4,200 visits before the debut event sold out.

La Mariée never repeats the same story. Each production is conceived as a singular narrative, never repeated and experienced only once.

The 2026 production returns at the iconic Rosewood Hotel Georgia, turning its focus to the exuberance of the wedding reception; the moment when celebration unfolds through music, movement, and grand design. Guests will journey through a series of immersive environments featuring dramatic installations, couture runways, live performances, and thoughtfully curated guest experiences that bring the spirit of celebration to life.

    What truly shaped her creative path was the handmade artistry passed down from her grandmother — sewing, knotting, quilting — a legacy of patience and devotion. Today, Ou Ma designs with that same intention: romantic, expressive pieces that honor heritage while redefining modern bridal.

    OUMA Atelier is a Vancouver-based couture house known for its romantic silhouettes, expressive details, and refined craftsmanship.
